1. Hello listening friends!

4. We are looking at what Jesus claimed of himself to be.

5. He said of himself that he was the bread of life.

6. He said that he was the light of the world.

7. And tonight we are going to see how he said that he is the door.

8. But I want to begin by telling you a story that will help illustrate this.

9. In the turn of this last century,
在二十世纪初的时候,
10. There was a prominent British citizen who went to the Syrian hills,

11. His name was Sir George Adam Smith.

12. He saw something that grabbed his attention.

13. He was watching the shepherds as they were driving their sheep,

14. As they took them into the sheep fold.

15. He noticed the following,

16. That the fold was no more than a simple four-wall enclosure with only one opening.

17. No door,

18. No gate.

19. So he asked the shepherd:

20. How can you ensure that the sheep will not wander off at night?

21. And what about wild beasts?
如果野兽来袭击怎么办?
22. Can they not come and attack these helpless sheep at night.

23. No said the shepherd!

24. Because I am the one whose body blocks this opening at night.

25. Then he continued:

26. He said I lie down across this opening,

27. No sheep can get out without going over my body.
不越过我的身体,没有一只羊能跑出去。
28. No thief or wolf can get in except over my body.

29. And to a certain extent, that’s what Jesus meant in John chapter 10.
在某种程度上,耶稣在约翰福音里所说的就是这个意思。
30. When he said that I am the door.
祂说:“我是门”。
31. Let’s connect this statement to the chapter before.

32. Chapter 9,

33. Of John’s gospel.

34. There we see a blind man,

35. He was born blind.

36. And Jesus healed him and opened his eyes.

37. When the Pharisees and the religious leaders saw that man healed,
当法利赛人和宗教领袖看见那人得了医治,
38. They felt threatened and got very angry.
他们觉得受到威胁,就十分恼怒。
39. So they arrested the poor man.
于是他们把这个可怜虫抓了起来,
40. And they excommunicated him.
并把他逐出了会堂。
41. The Pharisees were the church leaders who were very traditionalist,
法利赛人是一群固守传统的宗教领袖,
42. They followed some Rabbinic traditions,
他们遵循拉比的遗传,
43. And not the strict word of God.
并不是单纯遵循神的话语。
44. Some people think that they were literalists in their interpretations of the law of Moses,
有些人以为他们是拘泥字面解释摩西律法的人,
45. This is not correct.
其实不然。
46. Jesus is the only one who pointed them to the true Biblical interpretation,
唯有耶稣能指示他们真正准确地解释圣经,
47. Because they were following some interpretations of some ancient rabbis,
因为他们一味地跟随古代拉比的遗传,
48. Whom they were following blindly.
他们只知道盲从。
49. The problem with tradition is this,
传统有时是充满问题的,
50. It can take hold of your heart and your mind,

51. It can blind people to the truth of the Scripture.

52. I’m not as concerned with tradition as I am concerned with the Word of God.

53. The Pharisees brought this poor fellow behind closed doors and said to him in effect:
法利赛人把那个可怜的人带来,关起门来审问他说:
54. Tell us that Jesus is a sinner.
告诉我们,耶稣是一个罪人。
55. Tell us that Jesus is a mere man.
告诉我们,耶稣不过只是一个人而已。
56. Tell us that Jesus is merely a good teacher.
告诉我们,耶稣仅仅是一个好老师罢了。
57. Or he’s just a prophet.
他只不过是一个先知。
58. And the poor man was thoroughly confused.
这可怜的人完全被搞胡涂了。
59. His response was this:
他的回答是这样的:
60. If he’s a sinner, that’s not my business,
耶稣是不是罪人并不关我的事,
61. But this I know,
我只知道一件事,
62. I was born blind, but now I see.
我曾经瞎眼,但如今我看见了。
63. Throughout Christian history,
纵观整个基督教历史,
64. There have been forces who are trying to undermine that Jesus is the divine Son of God.
一直有一股势力,想要抑制或贬低耶稣作为永生神儿子的身分。
65. Even today all over the world,
甚至在今天这个世代,
66. People are saying, don’t believe the Bible.
人们都在说,不要相信圣经。
67. Don’t believe that Jesus is the divine Son of God.
不要相信耶稣是上帝的儿子。
68. Jesus didn’t mean what he said about himself.
耶稣的自我宣称并不是真的。
69. Jesus was a very special man,
耶稣虽然特殊,
70. But only a man.
但祂也只不过是一个人而已。
71. No, no, no!
不是,不是,绝对不是!
72. Jesus was the fulfillment of God’s promises;
耶稣是上帝应许的成全;
73. Jesus was God’s only appointed Messiah.
耶稣是上帝唯一膏立的弥赛亚。
74. That is why Jesus said what he said about himself,
这就是为什么耶稣会如此说,
75. He said I am the bread of life,
他说,我是生命的粮,
76. Without me, you will spiritually be hungry and die.
没有我,你们就会因心灵饥渴而死亡。
77. I am the light of the world.
我就是世界的光。
78. You are as blind as a bat.
你们就像蝙蝠一样瞎眼。
79. I am the door.
我是门。
80. If you go any other way,
如果你们另寻门路,
81. Your head is going to get smashed.

82. I am the good shepherd,
我是好牧人,
83. If you follow anybody else,
如果你跟从别人,
84. They will skin you alive.
他们会把你生吞活剥了。
85. I am the way,
我就是道路,
86. I am the truth,
我就是真理,
87. I am the life.
我就是生命。
88. Without me, you’ve had it.
没有我,你们就完了。
89. I am the resurrection and the life.
复活在我,生命也在我。
90. If you don’t plug into me,
如果你们不与我连接,
91. You will not experience eternal life.
你就没有永远的生命。
92. These Pharisees told the poor man who was blind:
法利赛人告诉这个曾经瞎眼的可怜人说:
93. Stop trying to teach us,
别想教育我们,
94. We will show you who is in charge here.
我们让你看看是谁在这里掌权。
95. Get out, you are no longer part of us.
滚出去!我们不欢迎你。
96. You are one of those Jesus followers,
你是耶稣的同伙,
97. You are one of those Jesus fanatics.
你是盲从耶稣的狂热份子。
98. What happened after that,
后来,
99. Jesus heard that this man had been thrown out,
耶稣听说这个人被他们赶了出去,

1. Jesus went to him.

2. He said to him:

3. Do you believe in the Son of God?

4. The man said:

5. Who is he sir, that I may believe in him?

6. Jesus said, I am he who is talking to you.
耶稣说:和你说话的就是祂。
7. And the man said, I believe, and he worshipped Jesus.
那人就说:我相信,于是他敬拜耶稣。
8. I want you to please notice the contrast here.
我想请你注意这里的鲜明对比。
9. The religious hierarchy attacked the believer,
宗教领袖攻击这个信徒,
10. But Jesus reached out to him and accepted his worship.
但耶稣亲近他,并接受他的敬拜。
11. And right at that point, Jesus turned to those who excommunicated the man and said:
也就是在那个时候,耶稣转向那群把这人逐出会堂的法利赛人,对他们说:
12. Anyone who does not enter the fold through the door but by some other way,
凡不从正门进入,而是走歪门邪道的,
13. Is a thief and a robber.
就是贼,就是强盗。
14. I am the door of the sheepfold.
我是羊的门。
15. I am the only entrance to God.
我是唯一通向神的入口。
16. I am the only connection between man and God.
我是神与人之间唯一的中保。
17. Through me alone, men and women of all ages and of all ethnic groups, and of all nations must come,
无论男女老少,无论那国那族的人,都必须通过我,
18. There is no other door.
除我以外,再没有别的门。
19. Only through Jesus it is possible to be saved from the horrors of judgment day,
唯独通过耶稣,我们才有可能逃脱可怕的审判,
20. And that day seemed to be around the corner.
而那个可怕的日子已经近在眼前了。
21. You cannot be saved through any other person,
你不能靠着任何其它人得救,
22. Not even through the law of Moses.
也不能靠行摩西的律法。
23. Nothing will get you to heaven except through the door.
除了通过这扇门,不然,你不能进入天堂。
24. And the doors name is Jesus.
这门的名字就叫耶稣。
25. The fold as I told you was a four-walled enclosure,
我所提过的羊圈是一个四面的围墙,
26. In fact the word itself is translated to mean a walled enclosure without a roof.
实际上,羊圈的意思就是一个没有屋顶的围墙。
27. And it only had one opening,
只有一个出口,
28. Never two.
绝没有第二个。
29. The door was not a mahogany door or a pine door,
这门不是桃木或松木做的,
30. It was not a door on hinges,
也没有枢纽,
31. It was an opening in the wall.
只是开在墙上的一个出口。
32. Jesus was saying this,
耶稣是在说,
33. I am the one who stands in that opening,
我是那个站在出口处的人,
34. And I will not refuse to accept anyone who comes to me.
我不会拒绝任何来到我面前的人。
35. And here’s where Jesus does not discriminate,
耶稣完全没有歧视,
36. Jesus will receive anyone who says,
耶稣会接纳所有人,
37. Jesus, you are the Son of God.
只要你承认说:耶稣,你是神的儿子。
38. Anyone who comes to him and says:
只要你来到祂面前,并对祂说:
39. Jesus, in you, and you alone I can find salvation.
耶稣,我只能在你里面找到救赎。
40. Anyone who says, Jesus:
只要你对耶稣说:
41. In you, and you alone, I can find my eternal security.
只有在你里面,我才能找到永恒的保障。
42. Anyone who comes and says:
只要你来到祂面前,对祂说:
43. Jesus,
耶稣,
44. In you, and you alone.
在你,惟独在你。
45. To you, and to you alone, I surrender the keys of my life.
向你,惟独向你,我交出生命的主权。
46. Anyone who says:
只要你说:
47. Jesus,
耶稣,
48. I repent of my sins,
我忏悔我的罪,
49. Please forgive me.
请宽恕我。
50. That person will never be turned down,
你就绝不会被拒绝,
51. Men and women,
无论男人女人,
52. Boys and girls,
无论男孩女孩,
53. Black or white,
无论黑人白人,
54. Yellow or brown,
无论黄人红人,
55. Big sinner or small sinner,
无论大罪人小罪人,
56. There is no discrimination here.
祂都不歧视。
57. Jesus would say to anyone who comes to him:
耶稣会对凡来到祂面前的人说:
58. Come right in!
请进来吧!
59. I have been waiting for you,
我一直在等你,
60. I am glad you have come.
我很高兴你终于来了。
61. The Jews stood in the way refusing people from coming to Jesus.
犹太人想要阻止人到耶稣这里来。
62. And in Matthew chapter 23 verse 13 Jesus said to them:
在马太福音23章13节中,耶稣对他们说:
63. Whoa to you, the scribes and the Pharisees, you hypocrites!
“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了!
64. For you shut out the kingdom from many people,
因为你们正当人前,把天国的门关了;
65. For neither you go in yourself,
自己不进去,
66. Neither do you let those who want to go in enter it.
正要进去的人,你们也不容他们进去。”
67. These hypocrites were so fastidious with rituals,
这些假冒为善的人,死死守住仪文规条,
68. But they cared nothing about people’s salvation and getting to God.
但却完全不在乎百姓是否得救归向神。
69. They blocked the way by their double standards.
他们用双重的标准挡住了路。
70. And I believe hypocrisy is still alive and well.
我相信如今这种虚伪仍然活跃猖獗。
71. In fact, hypocrisy crosses cultural boundaries.
实际上,假冒伪善是跨越国度的。
72. And having studied cultural anthropology myself,
我自己是学文化人类学的,
73. I have found that hypocrisy is common among all people.
我发现假冒伪善在所有种族中都十分普遍。
74. Let me give you an example from China!
我就讲一个来自中国的例子吧!
75. The Chinese people believe in putting themselves down in such an exaggerated fashion,
中国人喜欢夸张地贬低自己,
76. And lift up the other person.
为要奉承别人。
77. Not necessarily they believe this, but it’s just a way of talking.
并不是他们真的这么认为,只是一种说话的方式。
78. Let me give you the following conversation example.
比如说:
79. Someone asks the other,
一个人问另一个人:
80. What is your honorable name?
请问贵姓?
81. My insignificant appellation is Wong.
敝人贱姓王。
82. Where is your magnificent palace?
你府上在哪?
83. Response:
回答说:
84. My contemptible hut is in Sujo.
敝人寒舍在苏州。
85. How many are your illustrious children?
敢问多少龙凤?
86. The response:
回答说:
87. My vile, worthless, brats are 5.
在下有丫头小犬五个。
88. How is the health of your distinguished spouse?
你贤内助可安好啊?
89. Here’s the response:
回答说:
90. My mean, good-for-nothing, old woman is well.
敝人贱内还好。
91. This is an example of false humility.
这是一个虚伪谦卑的例子。
92. But Jesus said, I am the door,
然而,耶稣说我是门,
93. By me, if anyone enters in,
无论何人,只要进到我里面,
94. He shall be saved.
就能得救。
95. And shall go in and out and shall find pasture.
无论你出你入,都会找到青草地。
96. Jesus is saying:
耶稣是在说:
97. That there are three things that will happen to a person who will come to him and turn to him.
凡来到祂面前的人,会经历三件事。
98. Number one, he shall be saved.
第一,他会得救。
99. Secondly, he shall have true freedom.
第二,他会得到真正的自由。
SECTION C
丙部
1. Thirdly he shall find security and abundance.
第三,他会找到安全感和丰盛的生命。
2. Only when you come to the Father through the front door, whose name is Jesus,
只有当你通过唯一的前门,也就是耶稣基督,来到父神的面前;
3. Only then can you truly receive forgiveness and assurance of eternal life.
只有这样,你才能真正接受宽恕和永生的确据。
4. If you try to enter through the back door,
如果你想从后门进入,
5. You will not get in.
是不可能的。
6. Oh, but how many people think that they can use the back door,
但是有多少人都想走后门,
7. They think that baptism will get them there,
他们以为洗礼能带他们进入;
8. They think that going to church regularly will get them there,
他们以为常常上教会能带他们进入;
9. They think that belonging to a certain denomination or a certain affiliation will get them there,
他们以为参加某个宗派或团体能带他们进入;
10. They think that their family connection is sufficient to get them there.
他们以为家庭的关系能带他们进入。
11. But Jesus said:
但是耶稣却说:
12. The back door will not get you there,
后门是没用的,
13. Because there is no back door.
因为根本就没有后门。
14. I am the door,
我是唯一的门,
15. There is only one door,
只有一个门,
16. To the sheep fold.
羊圈只有一个门。
17. Try to get through any other door,
想走歪门邪道,
18. You will run into the wall.
你就会碰壁。
19. You enter only when you surrender your pride.
只有当你愿意放下你的骄傲,你才可以进入。
20. You enter only when you surrender your effort of good works.
只有当你愿意放下自己的努力,你才可以进入。
21. You enter only when you surrender your resistance to Jesus.
只有当你彻底降服在耶稣面前,你才可以进入。
22. You enter only when you quit trying hard and come in simple faith.
只有当你不再挣扎,单纯地信靠,你才可以进入。
23. Only when you say:
只有当你说:
24. I come to you oh, God,
神阿,我来到你面前,
25. By your grace provided to me through the only door,
借着你的恩典得以通过这唯一的门,
26. Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
就是你的儿子,主耶稣基督。
