3. In the last message, I left you by saying about Peter giving us a graphic word picture,

4. It shows us how Satan is ceaseless in his activities in trying to destroy us.

5. Ceaseless is the key word here.

6. Peter uses the image of a lion who is driven by starvation,
彼得用一只饥饿觅食的狮子来形容撒但，
7. And because he is driven by hunger he is stalking his prey from a distance.
一只饥饿的狮子，就会潜伏跟踪它的猎物。
8. You never hear of a lion just going around stalking his prey just to admire their fur coats,
你从没听说过，狮子因为要欣赏猎物的毛皮而跟踪猎物，
9. Or to admire the way they walk,

10. Or admire the way they take good care of their young ones.

11. No.

12. He is stalking his prey from a distance,

13. And he waits,

14. And then he waits some more,

15. Until they go to sleep.

16. Spiritually speaking it works the same way,

17. He waits for the believer until he relaxes spiritually.

18. He awaits for them to let down their guards,

19. And he moves with such a swift speed.

20. And right after he brings his prey under him he roars as if to say, I’ve got you.

21. He roars the roar of victory.

22. He roars so that every other animal in the jungle will stay out,

23. He roars to say, he is mine, or she is mine,

24. Now let me enjoy the fruit of my kill.

25. Now what is Satan’s intention toward you, child of God?

26. Listen to me very carefully,

27. He does not want to reveal his presence to you until he can roar to announce that he has got you beat.

28. By that time, you already know it.

29. After you are defeated,

30. He roars against God,
它向神吼叫，
31. Why would he roar in defiance against the almighty God?

32. To challenge Him.

33. You say, to challenge God?

34. And the answer is yes,

35. Remember in the very first message?

36. We saw Lucifer rebel against God,

37. And God threw him out of heaven/

38. In the book of Isaiah, Lucifer said, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God,

39. He said, I will be like the most high.

40. You see, Satan has never given up wanting to be like the most high,

41. He is in an antagonistic relationship with the most high.

42. He got kicked out of heaven,

43. But he has never stopped trying to defeat God’s children.

44. Ever since that time,

45. When he did not succeed in opposing God,

46. He has been trying to succeed in defeating His children.

47. He prowls around,

48. Then when he gets his prey,

49. He roars.

50. Because he is deceiving himself into thinking that he has come one step closer toward removing God from His throne.

51. I want to give you some examples from the Scripture of how Satan roars when a child of God falls into his temptation.
让我从圣经中举些例子说明，当神的儿女被撒但诱惑，跌落陷阱时，它如何吼叫。
52. The first example I want to give you is from the book of Joshua,
第一个例子记载在约书亚记，
53. God gave Joshua and the people of Israel, victory of Jericho.

54. Joshua was fortified city,

55. A city that had an incredible fortress around it.

56. Yet God supernaturally, and miraculously gave the Israelites victory over Jericho.

57. After a flash of victory in Jericho,
他们刚战了耶利哥城，
58. Joshua ceased to be sober,
约书亚就放松了警戒，不再谨守，
59. He ceased to be watchful,

60. He ceased to be prayerful and alert.

61. In chapter 7 of the book of Joshua,

62. You find that the next battle was a very small town named Ai.

63. At that little town, Joshua and the people of God were decimated and defeated.
约书亚和神的子民在这个小城，伤亡惨重，一败涂地。
64. Joshua went to God and he cried out to God, Oh, God, what happened?

65. God told him that there was a sin in the camp.

66. And Joshua had to deal with that sin.
约书亚先要解决罪的问题。
67. And he went into repentance,

68. And he cleansed the camp,

69. And then he became overconfident again.

70. I’m going to stop here and tell you something important.

71. Every time you are going to fall into Satan’s temptation, it will be right after a blessing.

72. Write this down,

73. This is very important.

74. Now, Joshua was overconfident again.
现在约书亚又过分自信了。
75. And after victory in Ai, he ceased to be watchful,

76. He ceased to be vigilant.

77. And what happened?

78. In chapter 9 of the book of Joshua,

79. Only 2 chapters after 7,

80. Joshua was deceived by the Gibeonites again.

81. It brought decimation upon the people of God from that moment on.

82. Did Joshua anticipate it?

83. No.

84. Did Joshua go back to Gilgal and consult with God?

86. Did Joshua seek a word from the Lord?

88. And here you see Satan on top of Joshua roaring before God,

89. I have got your man.

90. The second example is in II Samuel 11.
第二个例子是在撒母耳记下第11章。
91. One of God’s most favorite people, David.
这是神最喜悦的人之一，大卫。
92. There you find him depressed and discouraged and Satan is roaring a roar of defiance over his prey.
当时大卫灰心失意，撒但就在它的猎物上发出挑战的吼叫声。
93. Read these verses later on.

94. But as you may know God gave David victory after victory.
你可能知道，神使大卫一次又一次得胜。
95. God said I have examined David’s heart and I have found it after my own heart.

96. David experienced the blessings of God like very few people will ever experience.
很少人经历过像神赐给大卫那样的恩典。
97. David was so conscious of the presence of God like very few people were.
很少人能够像大卫一样，清楚感受神的同在。
98. But he ceased to be vigilant,
但他不再警醒，
99. And he began to spiritually relax.
他的灵开始松懈下来。
SECTION B

1. He wasn’t anticipating the lion stalking him,
他没有警觉到狮子正潜伏跟踪他，
2. He was not vigilant and alert.
他并没有谨守、警醒。
3. You know the text does not give us any indication here that David planned this sin,
经文中没有显示出大卫是故意地犯罪，
4. All that happened was, that he was sleepless,
事情的发生，就是因为他睡不着，
5. So he got up and he went to the rooftop,
于是他到天台上走走，
6. And he saw a woman,
他看见一个女人，
7. And there Satan succeeded.
在这里，撒但的计谋得逞。
8. The adversary was setting his traps and David fell in those traps.
敌人设下网罗，而大卫就跌入陷阱。
9. David ended up not only bringing reproach upon himself but upon his God.
结果大卫不单羞辱自己，并且羞辱神。
10. There is a third example,
再看第三个例子，
11. In Luke 22:31,
在路加福音22章31节，
12. Jesus said to Peter,
耶稣对彼得说，
13. Simon, Simon.
西门！西门！
14. Satan has desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat,
撒但想要得着你们，好筛你们像筛麦子一样，
15. But I prayed for you that your faith may not fail.
但我已经为你祈求，叫你不至于失了信心。
16. Do you know when these words came to Peter,
你知道吗？当耶稣对彼得说这些话时，
17. They came right after the sweet companionship and fellowship in the upper room,
是在耶路撒冷那间楼房里，他们刚有亲密的相聚和交谈之后，
18. They came immediately after the precious Passover meal in which Jesus revealed to them that he was the Passover lamb,

19. Right after that moment when Jesus reached down and drew these disciples intimately close to him,

20. Right after this incredible moment of close fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ,

21. Jesus said, Peter, Satan is right here,
主耶稣说，彼得，撒但就在这里，
22. He is desiring to sift you as wheat.
它要筛你们像筛麦子一样。
23. I know you know what that is like.
我想你知道那是怎么一回事。
24. A person who is sifting the wheat puts all the wheat with the chaff and the dirt and everything in the sieve,
筛麦子的人把成堆的麦子，连壳带谷粒和杂草尘土全都放在筛子上，
25. And he shakes it this way and he shakes it that way,
然后左右摇晃着，
26. And he shakes it up and down,
上下翻动着，
27. It’s all very painful,

28. And he shakes it every which way he can in order to get the wheat down and get rid of the chaff and the dirt.
他不断摇晃，要将谷壳和杂质筛掉，只留下麦粒。
29. And that’s what Jesus was talking about.
这就是主耶稣说这比喻的意思。
30. Because 12 hours later, Peter denied any knowledge of his master and his friend, the Lord Jesus Christ.
因为在12小时之后，彼得否认了他的主，他的朋友耶稣基督。
31. And he denied him to a little slave girl.
他对一个为奴的小女孩否认耶稣。
32. Why?
为什么？
33. Because after the blessings of the upper room,

34. After Peter’s boasting and bragging about how he would never deny Jesus,

35. Peter ceased to be vigilant.

36. And Satan was stalking Peter,

37. Satan was setting up his traps for Peter,
撒但为彼得布下陷阱，
38. Satan was waiting for the opportune moment to trip Peter.
撒但正等待机会陷害彼得。
39. And the moment he found the opportunity,
它找到了机会就下手，
40. Peter was relaxed and sitting there by the fireplace,
彼得正坐在火堆旁取暖歇息，
41. And Satan swiftly moved and devoured Peter.
撒但迅速行动，并吞没彼得。
42. And he roared again,
它再次吼着说，
43. God I’ve got the chief apostle of your Son.
神！我抓到你儿子使徒中的头目了！
44. And that’s when all the sifting has begun.
这就是它开始筛麦子的时候。
45. I want to give you a fourth example,
现在我要举第四个例子，
46. It’s in the book of Acts, chapter 5,
在使徒行传第5章，
47. The disciples and believers were selling all that they had and putting it at the feet of the apostles.
门徒和信徒变卖田产，把卖得的金钱放在使徒脚前。
48. As you know the early church was persecuted,
你知道早期教会受迫害，
49. They were being thrown out of their houses and out of their jobs and out of their communities,
他们被赶出自己的屋子，并失去工作，被社会驱逐，
50. All because of their faith.
全因着他们信仰的缘故。
51. They were living together in a sweet fellowship and mutual commitment to Christ.
他们住在一起，有甜蜜的团契，共同向基督委身。
52. Most of them had seen Jesus with their own eyes,
他们大多数曾经亲眼见过耶稣，
53. They witnessed the resurrection,
他们是主复活的见证人，
54. And you would think that if there is a place on the face of the earth that a group of people can be spiritually vigilant it would be that place.
你一定会认为，如果这世上有一群人能不断保持灵性的警醒，就应该是这里的人了。
55. And yet the Bible said that one of them, Ananias and his wife named Sapphira.
但圣经说，他们当中有一对夫妇，名叫亚拿尼亚和撒非喇。
56. Sold a piece of land and kept part of the price,
他们卖了一块地，却把价银私自留下几分，
57. Then they went to the apostles and they lied to them,
然后去到使徒那里向他们说谎，
58. And they said that this is all the price of the land.
他们说，这就是卖地所有的钱。
59. Are you telling the truth about the gifts that God has given you?
对于神给你的恩赐，你有没有讲实话呢？
60. Only you and the Spirit of God knows the truth.
只有你和圣灵知道真相。
61. I want you to listen to these words of Peter,
我希望你听听彼得所说的话，
62. Listen to what he said to Ananias,
听他对亚拿尼亚怎么说，
63. Why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit of God and keep back part of the price of the land?
为什么撒但充满了你的心，叫你欺哄圣灵，把田地的价银私自留下几分呢？
64. Listen to the next verse,
听他下一句，
65. He said,
他说，
66. Before you sold the land, was it not your own?
田地还没有卖，不是你自己的吗？
67. And then after you sold it, was it not at your disposal?
既卖了，价银不是你作主吗？
68. How is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart?
你怎么心里起这意念呢？
69. And there the judgement of God fell upon Ananias and Sapphira immediately and they dropped dead on the spot.
就在那一刻，神的审判临到亚拿尼亚和撒非喇，他们当场死在那里。
70. Why?
为什么？
71. Because they were not watchful,
因为他们没有留心，
72. Because they were not sober,
因为他们没有谨守，
73. Because they were not vigilant.
因为他们没有警醒。
74. And Satan set his traps and they fell into it.
而撒但设下圈套，他们就跌了进去。
75. And at that point, Satan roared,
这时，撒但得意地吼叫，
76. A roar of defiance in the face of God.
向神发出挑衅的吼叫。
77. Please hear me right, I am getting ready to close,
我将要结束今天的信息了，请你注意听我说，
78. Sin can be a result of predetermined preplanned and premeditated,
许多罪是有预谋，有计划，故意的犯罪，
79. But sin often comes to the life of a Christian when he or she is not serious minded.
但基督徒往往在不留神时，犯下无心之失。
80. Sin comes when you are not vigilant and alert to the prowling of the lion.
当你不警醒不戒备时，狮子潜伏靠近你，就犯起罪来。
81. Some of you probably are asking this question,
你可能会问一个问题，
82. Can the devil really devour a child of God?
魔鬼真的能吞吃神的儿女吗？
83. This is a very important question.
这是非常重要的问题。
84. Ananias and Sapphira surely are good example of that.
亚拿尼亚与撒非喇就是最好的例子。
85. Let me give you what some people say.
让我告诉你有些人的看法。
86. In I John 5:18,
在约翰壹书5章18节，
87. It says, that Satan cannot harm a Christian,
这里说，撒但并不能伤害基督徒，
88. And therefore, Satan cannot devour a Christian.
因此撒但并不能吞噬基督徒。
89. But when John said that the evil one cannot touch the Christian he meant,
但约翰说魔鬼不能伤害基督徒，他的意思是，
90. That he cannot take away his salvation from him,
魔鬼不能夺去基督徒的救恩，
91. He cannot sever that vital union between him and God.
魔鬼不能分割人与神生命的联系。
92. It means that even the careless Christian may not lose his salvation,
就是说，纵使基督徒不小心犯了罪，也不会失去救恩，
93. But he can be sure that Satan may devour his life,
但他要知道，撒但可以吞噬他肉身的生命，
94. So Satan cannot change eternal life,
撒但不能改变永远的生命，
95. But Satan can certainly bruise and mingle, and devour the careless Christian.
但撒但却能够伤害、侵入并吞噬疏忽大意的基督徒。
96. If Satan couldn’t do that, Peter would not have told us what he told us.
如果撒但不能这样做，彼得就不用对我们提出那些警告了。
97. You know what Peter would have said?
你知道彼得会怎么说？
98. He would have said, the devil is only a paper tiger,
他大可以说，魔鬼只是只纸老虎，
99. While he’s prowling around,
当它在四周潜伏窥伺时，
SECTION C

1. He can only roar, but he can’t bite,
它只会吼叫，却不会吞吃，
2. He’s not allowed to tempt you.
因为不容许它来试探你。
3. Therefore, do not pay any attention to him,
所以，你不需要理会它，
4. He’s only a roar, but no devour.
它只会吼叫，但不会吞噬你。
5. But you know that’s not what he said, is it.
然而你知道，彼得并不是这么说的。
6. Paul would have written to the Ephesians and said to them,
保罗写信给以弗所教会时，他也可以对他们这样说，
7. Don’t take up your full armor of God,
不要穿上神所赐的全副军装，
8. We have no fight with the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places,

9. But that’s not what he said.

10. James would have written and said,

11. Don’t bother resisting the devil,
不用麻烦去抵挡魔鬼，
12. He will always flee from you,

13. But that’s not what he said is it.

14. We are urged in every page in the Scripture to resist the devil,
圣经处处都迫切地劝告我们，要抵挡魔鬼，
15. To be sober and vigilant,
要谨守警醒，
16. And we put on the whole armor of God,
我们要穿戴神所赐的全副军装，
17. That we live in the fullness of Christ,
我们要活出基督丰盛的生命，
18. That we pray in the Spirit.
我们要靠着圣灵常常祷告。
19. And that’ exactly what I am going to do right now,
现在我就要这么做，
20. I want to pray with you,
让我与你一同祷告，
21. And I’m going to pray that God will show you how to resist the devil,
我要求神指示你，如何抵挡魔鬼，
22. And how to be sober and vigilant.
如何谨守警醒。
23. Heavenly father,
天父啊，
24. We thank you for your word,
我们感谢你赐下你的话语，
25. Which is powerful,
你的话语大有能力，
26. And it empowers us,
使我们得着力量，
27. We thank you that it warns us.
我们感谢你警告我们。
28. And now we pray that you would help us to stand firm and flee from temptation and the devil,
现在祈求你帮助我们站立得稳，脱离魔鬼并它的试探，
29. And that we will resist the devil,
使我们能够抵挡魔鬼，
30. That we will have victory in Jesus,
让我们靠着主耶稣得胜，
31. He is our victory.
