1. Hello, listening friends.
亲爱的朋友，你好！
2. If you are joining our broadcast for the first time,

3. we are nearing the end of a series of messages on 2 Peter.
我们关于彼得后书的系列信息已接近尾声。
4. Peter was a man brimming with over-confidence;
彼得曾经是一位自以为很了不起的人；
5. but, in three and one-third of a year as he walked with Jesus, he was humbled;

6. and, then, finally, he was renewed and restored as a new man in Christ.

7. Simon became Peter.

8. His self-confidence became God-confident,

9. and this letter, which is his last,

10. was written at a time when Peter knew that his time on earth was drawing to a close.

11. Not long after he wrote this Epistle,

12. Peter was crucified upside down on a cross for the sake of the Gospel.

13. He was certain in his knowledge that, although his soul would leave its earthly tent,
他确信，当他离开世上的帐棚以后，
14. he would soon be in his real home with the Lord;
他的灵魂将在永恒的家里与主同在；
15. and one of Peter’s greatest concerns was his concern for young believers.
而此时彼得最关心的，就是那些幼稚的信徒。
16. By this, he meant people who were young in their spiritual maturity.
他所指的幼稚，是在属灵生命上的不成熟。
17. This second Epistle of Peter, therefore, is written to all believers.
因此，彼得的第二封书信，是写给所有信徒的。
18. Let me review the past several messages from the second Epistle of Peter.
现在，我们来温习一下前几次的节目中谈过的，彼得后书里的信息。
19. In Chapter 1,
在第一章，
20. he took the offensive and reiterated the Gospel.
他主动出击，重申福音的本质。
21. Peter affirmed that the Bible is nothing less than the very Word of God, breathed by the Holy Spirit.
彼得强调，圣经就是神口中所出的话，是由圣灵默示而写成的。
22. In Chapter 2,
在第二章，
23. he warned believers against being misled and misguided by false doctrine and false teachers.
他告诫信徒不要被假师傅和假教义所引诱和迷惑。
24. In Chapter 3,

25. Peter, here, tells us about the signs of the end times,
彼得告诉我们末世的特征，
26. and how we can rejoice and wait expectantly for the return of the Lord.

28. My listening friend, I want to ask you a question.

29. Have you meditated or even given a fleeting thought to the return of Christ?
你有没有想过关于基督再来的问题呢？
30. How many of us in the past weeks or months actually have longed for the return of Christ?
我们中间有多少人在过去的几个星期或几个月里，真正地盼着基督再来呢？
31. Some of us, when we get into a crisis or feel pressed from every direction,
有一些人当遭遇到危难，或被生活所迫的时候，
32. we look upon the return of Christ as a way out of our current trouble;
就会盼着基督再来，以解救我们的燃眉之急；
33. but is the triumphant return of our Lord really the desire of your heart?
但是，你内心深处是不是真的盼着主的荣耀再临呢？
34. That even the fleeting desire that most of us feel one time or another points to a spiritual truth.
即使大部分的人偶尔会渴望主赶快再来，其实这反映出一个属灵的实况。
35. One of the signs of the end of times and the return of the Lord is when God’s people long for Him to return.
主再来的征兆之一就是神的子民渴望祂再次降临。
36. Jesus will not come back to take His church when they would rather stay here
如果教会仍旧留恋世界不愿意离开的话，耶稣就不会回来接我们。
37. and, as we see the signs of the times in the news
当我们从新闻中看到末世的迹象，
38. of economic upheavals,
经济风暴，
39. ecological disasters,
生态环境被破坏，
40. population explosion,
人口爆炸，
41. and the breakdown of law and order;
道德和社会秩序的崩溃，
42. we will be, if we are not already, longing for Jesus to come back;
看到这一切，即使我们尚未预备好，都会盼着耶稣赶快回来。
43. but, times of uncertainty, like these days,
但是，像今天这样混乱不明确的世代，
44. are the best times for the spreading of the Good News of the Gospel.
正是我们传福音的最好时机。
45. Times like our times are a tremendous opportunity for God’s people to rise up
我们的时代，是神的子民起来传福音的最好机会。
46. and proclaiming Him as the only Answer to man’s problem.
我们要向世人宣告，只有耶稣才是人类的唯一盼望。
47. Times like our times, where people are working hard and even enjoying life less than ever,
现今的世代，人们勤奋地工作，甚至无暇享受人生，
48. these are times when believers need to point them to Jesus Christ.
这个世代，需要基督徒来领人归向耶稣基督。
49. Times like our times, believers ought to stand up and be counted.
这个世代，信徒应当站出来坚守立场。
50. Times like our times are the best times for believers to do more, give more and serve more.
这个世代是基督徒加倍服事、加倍奉献的最好时机。
51. These days, the world may say to us to be afraid
在这个世代，世界叫我们要恐惧，
52. or run,
要逃跑，
53. or hide,
要躲避，
54. or hoard--
要藏起来，
55. look out for yourself,
各扫门前雪。
56. but the Bible says,
但是，圣经说：
57. “Lift up your head.
“抬起你的头来，
58. Rejoice,
要喜乐，
59. for your redemption is drawing nigh.”
因为你得救的日子近了。
60. The world says,
世人说：
61. “Pull the shades down.
“把窗帘拉下来。
62. Get to bed and pull the cover over your head;”
钻进被窝里，把头蒙起来；”
63. but the Bible says,
但圣经说：
64. “Be exceedingly glad, and get onto the rooftop and shout
“应当欢喜快乐，并要到房顶上去欢呼，
65. because you are going to rule with your heavenly Father.”
因为你要和你的天父一同作王。”
66. In 2 Peter, Chapter 3,
在彼得后书第三章，
67. the Apostle talks about these times.
当彼得谈到关于这个时代的时候，
68. Peter tells us that, while you must not trust the false teachers who deny the Bible as the Word of God,
彼得告诉我们，假师傅否认圣经是神口中所出的话，你千万别相信他们。
69. but we must trust God and the Bible as His Word.
同时，我们必须依靠神，并坚信圣经乃是神的话语。
70. He tells us that the Lord is coming.
他说，主来的日子近了。
71. God always keeps His promises
神是信实的，祂的应许不会落空，
72. and He is always on time.
祂决不会迟延。
73. In 2 Peter 3:1, Peter says
在彼得后书3：1，他说：
74. “Beloved, I now write this second letter to you to stir up in your minds a reminder.”
“亲爱的弟兄啊，我现在写给你们的是第二封书信，这两封都是提醒你们，激发你们诚实的心。”
75. Peter says that the battle in the believer’s life takes place in their minds.
彼得说，在信徒的心中时常有交战。
76. The Bible says,
经上说，
77. “As a man thinks in his heart, so he is.”
“因为他心怎样思量，他为人就是怎样。”
78. If Satan is going to get you, he is going to get you in your thinking.
撒但若是要攻击你，它会先攻占你的思想。
79. Why?
为什么呢？
80. Because when you think wrong, you will act wrong.
因为，你思想上的偏差，会导致你行为上犯错。
81. Peter is saying “I want to bring the Lord to your mind, and I want you to remember.”
彼得的意思是：“我希望主能进入你的思想，使你牢牢记住。”
82. My listening friend, let me ask you this question:
我亲爱的朋友，让我问你：
83. what was the first thought that you had this morning when you woke up?
今天早上你醒来的第一个念头是什么呢？
84. Did you wake up thinking of the Lord,
你想到的是主呢？
85. or, were you waking up thinking about your problems?
还是想到你面对的困难呢？
86. Whatever you think of when you get up sets the stage for your thinking for the rest of the day.
你起床后的第一个念头，就决定了你一整天的思想。
87. Paul tells us, in 2 Corinthians 10:5,
保罗在哥林多后书10章5节那里说，
88. to bring every thought captive in obedience to Christ.
又将人所有的心意夺回，使它都顺服基督。
89. Your greatest defense and your certainty of victory in life is to remember what you already know.
你能够过得胜生活的最大确据和保障，就是牢牢记住你有永生的确据。
90. As believers, you already know that you have the assurance of eternal life with your heavenly Father.
作为信徒，你已经知道自己有永生的把握，将永远与天父同在。
91. When Jesus broke bread and gave it to His disciples and said, “Do this in remembrance of me,”
当耶稣掰开饼，递给门徒的时候，祂说：“你们应当如此行，为的是纪念我。”
92. He intended for this meal to be a constant reminder of His promises,
祂设立圣餐，就是为了要人常常纪念祂的应许，
93. and this ought to be a constant reminder to the believers.
也成为基督徒经常的提醒。
94. It reminds us that God did what we could never do for ourselves.
圣餐提醒我们，神已经做了我们自己永远无法做到的事情。
95. It should evoke our memory.
圣餐使我们的记忆历久弥新。
96. We must remember that the reason our sins are forgiven is not because of our good works.
我们必须记得，我们的罪得到赦免，不是因为我们自己的好行为。
97. The reason our sins are forgiven is not because we follow the rules.
罪得赦免，不是因为我们遵守律法。
98. The reason our sins are forgiven is because Jesus paid our penalty on the cross
我们的罪得到赦免，是因为耶稣在十字架上替我们所受的刑罚。
99. and, when He rose again from the grave,
并且，因着祂从死人中复活。

1. He lifted us up above the dominion and the power of sin.
祂把我们从罪的权势下救拔出来。
2. What is the purpose of this reminder?
圣餐提醒我们什么呢？
3. So that we will be exceedingly grateful.
是要我们满心感激。
4. My listening friends, let me ask you this:
我亲爱的朋友，让我问你：
5. when was the last time you came to the Lord’s Table with tears in your eyes?
你最近一次忧伤痛悔地来到主的圣餐桌前是什么时候呢？
6. When was the last time you came to the Lord’s Table with a grateful heart that Jesus died for you?
你最近一次来到主的圣餐桌前，感谢主为你而死，是什么时候呢？
7. Peter tells us that we must always remember what the Scripture says.
彼得说，我们必须时常纪念圣经的话。
8. Why?
为什么呢？
9. Because that’s the only thing that will keep us on the right track.
因为，唯有圣经的话能保守我们走在正路上。
10. The word used here in verse 1, "to stir up," means to arouse or awaken fully;
在第一节中所用的”激发“这个词，意思就是说，要彻底把我们唤醒；
11. not just a nostalgic memory, but this is a memory that is going to evoke our emotions toward God.
不只是一种念旧的情怀，而是刺激我们的心朝向神的回忆。
12. This is a memory that is going to evoke our feelings toward God.
这种纪念要唤醒我们的感觉，使它朝向神。
13. This is a memory that’s going to stir up our minds toward God.
这种纪念要激励我们的心，使它朝向神。
14. Now, my listening friends, this is very important.
我亲爱的朋友啊，这一点很重要。
15. We need to be fully awakened to the truth of God’s Word and the truth of our faith.
我们对于神真理的话语和信心的确据，需要有彻底的醒觉。
16. There is a specific thought that Peter is deeply concerned about here.
彼得在这里特别关注这一点。
17. Believers must be fully awakened to this task.
信徒必须彻底醒觉，才能完成使命。
18. It is upholding the truth of the Scripture in a world that denies Its authority and power.
这个使命就是，要在一个否认圣经权威和大能的世界中高举圣经。
19. Peter said, in verse 2, that the true prophets and apostles
彼得在第二节说，圣先知和使徒，
20. are those who were inspired by the Holy Spirit to put the Scripture together;
就是那些被圣灵感动写下圣经的人；
21. therefore, the Scripture must be fully trusted.
因此，我们应该绝对相信圣经。
22. Don’t trust in false prophets.
不要相信那些假先知。
23. Do not trust in false teachers.
不要相信假师傅。
24. They cannot be trusted.
他们是靠不住的。
25. Their philosophical theories cannot be trusted.
他们的那一套理论是不可信的。
26. Their speculations are mere guesswork.
他们的推论只不过是一些没有根据的猜测。
27. Their hypotheses are based on fantasy and fiction.
他们所假设的前提，只是幻想和虚构的。
28. Their suppositions are based on human feelings.
他们的想象，只不过是人的感觉罢了。
29. Their ideas never stand when they are held to the light of the Scripture,
他们的观点在神话语的光里，毫无立足之处，
30. but the true prophets and the true apostles, who are entrusted by God to write down His Word,
圣先知和使徒受神的默示，将神的话写下来，
31. should be fully trusted.
所以，经上的话是完全可信的。
32. My friend, I want to tell you this as I conclude this message:
我的朋友，在即将结束今天的信息之前，让我告诉你：
33. cling to the Word of God without hesitation.
抓紧神的话，不要怀疑。
34. Hold onto the Scripture without neglect.
谨慎持守经上所说的，不要疏忽。
35. Embrace the Word of God without fear.
全心接受神的话语，不要惧怕。
36. Believe the Scripture without doubt.
相信圣经，不要怀疑。
37. Live under Its authority for It is your only hope.
活在神话语的权柄下，因为，这是你唯一的希望。
38. Why should you trust, believe and obey the Scripture?
为什么要依靠、相信并顺服圣经上的话语呢？
39. First, because It is the Word of God,
第一，因为它是神的话，
40. but, secondly, Peter tells us, in verses 3 and 7,
第二，彼得在第3节和第7节告诉我们：
41. because God is in control.
因为神掌管一切。
42. Next time, we will look more closely at these verses.
