3. I want to tell you that all of us go through seasons of struggles and testing.
我们每一个人都经历过挣扎和试炼。
4. Some of you may be going through this season right now.
也许，你正在试炼当中。
5. Regardless of your prayer life and consecration to God, adversity will come to all of us.
无论你是多么的敬虔，亲近神，苦难总会临到我们。
6. These seasons in life are there for a purpose.
人生中不同的处境总有它的目的和意义。
7. We cannot pray away God’s seasons.
我们不能祷告求神取消这些试炼的时刻。
8. The seasons of struggles are meant to destroy our pride in our abilities.
生活中的挣扎就是要帮助我们消除自以为能干的傲气。
9. The seasons of struggle are meant to enforce our dependence on the sufficiency of our God.
生活中的挣扎就是要促使我们更加依靠全能的神。
10. The seasons of struggle are meant to bring us closer to the Lord.
生活中的挣扎就是要带领我们更加亲近主。
11. When the wind of winter blows on our circumstances, we cling to God even more.
当我们生活中遇到寒冬刺骨的北风，就使我们更加贴近神。
12. We may not like the blinding wind and the icy grip of winter season,
也许我们不喜欢寒风吹打在脸上，使我们张不开眼，冷冰冰的的滋味，
13. but there is always a reason for these temporary inconveniences.
但这些短暂的不方便，总有它的道理。
14. There are some things in life that we are meant not to instantly change.
生活中，总有一些事情不该随意改变的。
15. We are meant to live with them.
我们需要面对它们。
16. Like the tree in the forest,
就像森林中的树木一样，
17. the frost of winter covers it on the outside;
虽然树枝上覆盖着冰霜；
18. but, on the inside, the tree silently refurbishes its strength, preparing it for its next season of fruitfulness.
但是，在树干里面，却重新蕴育着活力，静静地等待来年开花结实。
19. Please listen to what I’m going to tell you. It’s very important.

20. Temporary setbacks are meant to be an opportunity, not for fretting, but for fresh commitment and renewal.
短暂的挫折，其实是一个机会，不是让你垂头丧气，而是要重新得力。
21. In fact, if you look back at your life, you’re going to discover that there are distinct seasons.
事实上，当你回顾往事，就会发现，你很明显地经历过不同的人生季节。
22. There are seasons of sunshine, as well as rain.
有时风和日丽，有时阴雨绵绵。
23. There are seasons of blessings, as well as blasting.
有时蒙福喜乐，有时不测风云。
24. There are seasons of fruitfulness, as well as seasons of dryness.
有时果实累累，有时干旱枯竭。
25. Many times, we have appreciated these seasons; while other times, we do not;
我们特别喜欢某些季节，而讨厌另外一些季节。
26. however, each season has its own purpose.
但是，每一个季节都有它的作用。
27. You may have heard the saying that goes like this:
也许你曾听说过这样一句谚语：
28. “Patience is a tree whose root is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.”
“忍耐就像一棵树，从苦涩的根生长出甜美的果实来。”
29. One of the most common mistakes that Christians make is that they make permanent decisions based on temporary circumstances.
基督徒最容易犯的错误就是，他们靠短浅的目光做出了长远的决定。
30. That was not Naomi’s mistake.
拿俄米没有犯这样的错误。
31. She received the only cure for her comfort without God.
她采取了唯一能治疗她远离神的方法。
32. She took the only cure to the consequences of shortcuts.
她选择了唯一能治疗她走捷径的药方。
33. She went home again.
她回家了。
34. Although she experienced bitterness,
虽然她经历了苦难，
35. and asked people to call her “Mara,”
让别人叫她“玛拉”。
36. she, herself, did not become bitter,
但她自己并没有变成苦毒的人。
37. because she put her hope and trust in God in the winter of her life.
因为即使在人生的寒冬里，她仍然信靠仰望神。
38. She knew that the winter of her life one day would give way to the sunshine of God’s redemption.
她深信，有一天，神救赎的阳光会驱散她生命中的寒冬。
39. She realized that the frost of her pain would one day give way to the warmth of God’s deliverance.
她认识到，有一天，神拯救的暖流会融化她痛苦心灵的严霜。
40. She believed that the God who allowed her and her family to suffer the consequences of their shortcuts was also the God of second chances.
她相信，这位曾经容忍她和家人走捷径的神，一定会给予她痛定思痛，重新振作起来的机会。
41. Turn with me to the Book of Ruth, Chapter 2.
请翻到路得记第2章。
42. You will find that Naomi and Ruth go back home and Ruth goes out to work for a very small wage;
你会看到拿俄米和路得回到家乡，路得以微薄的工资来养家。
43. but, supernaturally and providentially, she ends up in the executive dining room with the executives, having lunch;
但是，非常奇妙的是，她恰巧和这位庄园主一起用餐。
44. and that is the summary of Chapter 2,
这是第2章的故事的概要。
45. because I want to get to Chapter 3 very quickly,

46. because in Chapter 3, you will begin to see the hand of God working an appointment with destiny.
在第3章里，你会看到神的手，在恰当的时刻运行在人身上。
47. God does everything by appointment.
神作事总有特定的时间。
48. God will bring to pass all of His promises in your life.
神要在你身上实现祂所有的应许。
49. God is never one second late or one second early.
神不会提前，也从不会迟到。
50. God is always on time.
祂总是准时的。
51. You and I must always remember that an appointment is a meeting already set up.
你我都知道，所谓“约会”都是事先约定的。
52. Even when the tempestuous winds are blowing in your face, God has already prepared a way of escape.
即使在狂风骤雨当中，神早为你预备了一个避风港。
53. The day you said, “Yes” to Jesus, you have an appointment with destiny and God always keeps His appointments.
从你决定跟随主的那一天起，神就和你立了约，而且祂会坚守你们之间的约定。
54. When Naomi was going through her indescribable pain and loss and grief,
当拿俄米经历她生命中无法描述的痛苦、失落和悲哀的时候，
55. God was working out an appointment with destiny.
神正在为她预备人生下一场的约会。
56. When Naomi was going through her frosty winter,
当拿俄米处在她人生的严冬里时，
57. God was preparing her for the warmth of His sunshine.
神却在为她预备温暖的阳光。
58. Your blessings may not come in the way you thought they should come;
也许你所期盼的祝福，并不如你所想象的方式来临。
59. but, when God is in charge of your life, rest assured, He will keep His appointment.
但假如是神在掌管着你的生命，那么我可以肯定，祂一定会持守祂的约定。
60. God always synchronizes His answer to accomplish His purpose.
神的应许和祂的计画总是一致的。
61. Once, I was flying home from a trip, but the plane could not land on schedule.
有一次，我旅行回家的时候，飞机晚点了。
62. Apparently, the air controller must have instructed the pilot to wait in the air.
显然，机场的指挥塔指示驾驶员在空中盘旋等候。
63. Oh, what a strange place to wait-
这个等候地点是多么奇特啊──
64. in the air!
竟然是在空中呀！
65. But, you see, the air controller has to synchronize the landing schedule.
但要知道，指挥塔的控制员必须协调所有飞机的降落时间。
66. The captain announced that we were going to assume a holding pattern until further instructions from the air controller.
机长通知旅客说，我们必须在空中等候指挥塔的指令。
67. Some of you may have been instructed to be in a holding pattern until further instruction from God,
同样，在接到神的指令之前，我们也必须要等候。
68. and you don’t like it;
我们很不喜欢这样。
69. but God is synchronizing the working of things out for your appointment.
但神要协调天时地利人和，以完成祂和我们的约定。
70. In Ruth, Chapter 3,
在路得记第三章，
71. we see God synchronizing His plan to turn Naomi and Ruth’s despair into hope.
我们看到，神协调祂计画中的每一个步骤，把拿俄米和路得的绝望转变为希望。
72. God will replace their shattered dreams with a kinsman-redeemer.
神使用他们的亲人来救赎他们，取代了他们破碎的梦。
73. God will replace all the years that had been eaten by the locusts.
神要把那些被蝗虫吃掉的年岁重新归还给他们。
74. God will give them one of the greatest blessings recorded in history,
神要赐给他们有史以来最大的祝福，
75. and what a kinsman-redeemer God prepared for them!
神所预备来救赎他们的，是哪一位亲人呢？
76. The best kind that you would want.
是最杰出的一位。
77. Let me tell you that the best of earthly matchmakers could not have pulled this off.
我告诉你，神作的媒是世界上最棒的媒人都无法做到的。
78. When you trust Him, God is the best matchmaker you will ever know.
一旦你信靠神，祂就是你所见过最棒的媒人。
79. He will match you with blessings.
祂会让你得到最适合你的福气。
80. He will match you with people;
祂会把最适合你的人，跟你撮合在一起。
81. with opportunities.
赐给你最美好的时机。
82. He will match you with healing.
祂让你得到恰当的医治。
83. He will match you with joy and peace unspeakable.
祂要把最适合你，那无法形容的平安和喜乐赐给你。
84. When Naomi discovered that the man who showed kindness to Ruth was a kinsman-redeemer, and also happened to be a wealthy landowner in Bethlehem,
当拿俄米发觉，以仁慈对待路得的，是他们本族的亲人，可以救赎他们，同时这个人还是伯利恒的大财主呢！
85. she knew at that point that this is a match made in Heaven.
她立刻意识到，这是天赐良缘。
86. Literally, it was made in Heaven.
事实上，这的确是天作之合。
87. I am convinced that, beyond marrying for money, Naomi knew that Boaz’ character was to be trusted completely.
我深信，拿俄米不是为了钱把路得嫁给波阿斯，而是因为她了解波阿斯是个完全值得信赖的人。
88. Look at Chapter 3, verses 2, 4 and 18.
请看路得记第三章，第2，4和18节。
2节：你与波阿斯的使女常在一处，波阿斯不是我们的亲族吗？他今夜在场上簸大麦。
4节：到他睡的时候，你看准他睡的地方，就进去掀开他脚上的被，躺卧在那里，他必告诉你所当做的事。
18节：婆婆说，女儿啊，你只管安坐等候，看这事怎样成就。因为那人今日不办成这事必不休息。
89. Naomi, who lived through the pain of shortcuts,
拿俄米尝过走捷径的苦果，
90. knew that these two, Boaz and Ruth, were a real match.
她心里明白，波阿斯和路得是天生的一对。
91. Naomi, who learned from the pain of failure and compromise,
拿俄米从她过去妥协姑息和失败的经历中得到教训，
92. she knew that Ruth and Boaz shared a common moral excellence and loyalty and character.
她明白，路得和波阿斯都具有美好的道德和忠心的品格。
93. You must remember that for Naomi to try to broker marriage for her widowed daughter-in-law, Ruth, was perfectly normal.
你要知道，拿俄米为她的媳妇路得作媒是很正常的事。
94. As you know, back in those days, parents match-made their children’s marriage.
我们知道，在那个时代，儿女的婚姻都是由父母做主来决定的。
95. The parents got together
父母聚到一块儿，
96. and they talked about the weaknesses and the strengths of their children,
他们谈一些关于他们儿女的优点和缺点，
97. and they chose their marriage partners.
然后选择他们婚嫁的对象。
98. Naomi knew that these two had something far more in common than the artificial things by which we judge today.
拿俄米知道，波阿斯和路得生命的内涵有很多共通点，超越了一般人在表面所看到的。
99. She knew that God was at work.
她知道，神在做工。
SECTION B
乙部
1. She knew that Boaz and Ruth were excellent in character,
她知道，波阿斯和路得都有美好的品格。
2. and in integrity,
正直，
3. and in honesty,
诚实，
4. and loyalty.
以及忠心。
5. In Ruth, Chapter 3, verse 13,
在路得记3章13节，
波阿斯在那里说：你今夜在这里住宿，明早他若肯为你尽亲属的本分，就由他吧，倘若不肯，我指着永生的耶和华起誓，我必为你尽了本分，你只管躺到天亮。
6. there’s something very important you must understand.
你要明白一件很重要的事情。
7. The morality and the character of these two is absolutely unquestionable;
这两个人的道德和品格是完全没有问题的。
8. not only that,
不仅如此，
9. but the old man hesitated to propose to Ruth, thinking that she would want to marry a younger man.
而且，这位上了年纪的人认为路得应该嫁给一位年轻的小伙子。
10. Boaz did not want to put Ruth on the spot, because, in those days, she could not turn him down.
波阿斯不想让路得为难，因为在那个时代，路得不能拒绝他。
11. Look at Ruth, Chapter 3, verse 10.
请看路得记3章10节。
12. Boaz said,
波阿斯说，
13. “May you be blessed by the Lord, my daughter. You have made this last kindness greater than the first in that you have not gone after young men, whether poor or rich.”
“女儿啊，愿你蒙耶和华赐福。你末后的恩，比先前的更大；因为少年人无论贫富，你都没有跟从。”
14. A man of his stature could not have been turned down by Ruth, had he proposed to her.
以他的身分地位，一旦他向路得求婚，路得是不能拒绝他的。
15. That is why he was happy when Ruth said, in effect, “It’s all right to propose to me.”
所以，当路得答应他的求婚时，他是如此的高兴。
16. Ruth followed Naomi’s plan in complete trust in the wisdom of the God of Naomi.
因着对拿俄米所敬拜之神的完全信靠，路得按照拿俄米的吩咐而行。
17. One of the greatest characteristics of our God is that He is the Redeemer God.
我们的神最伟大的特性就是：祂是一位施行拯救的神。
18. He redeemed us from the penalty of sin.
祂拯救我们脱离罪的刑罚。
19. He redeemed us from Satan’s oppression.
祂拯救我们脱离撒但的欺压。
20. He redeemed us from the mastery of sin;
祂拯救我们脱离罪的挟制；
21. and He bought us with a price, as we will see in the next message.
在下次信息中，我们将会看到，祂用重价买赎了我们回来。
22. Boaz and Ruth have a child who will become the grandfather of King David,
波阿斯和路得的儿子就是大卫王的祖父，
23. who is the pre-figure of the true Kinsman-Redeemer, the Son of David, the Lord Jesus Christ.
大卫，就是那位真正的救赎主，大卫的子孙、主耶稣基督的预表。
24. While the story seemed to be heading toward a happy ending in Ruth, Chapter 3, verses 12 and 13,
在路得记3章12节和13节，我们看到了这个故事即将有一个圆满的结局。
25. there is an unexpected complication.
故事里出现了一段意料之外的插曲。
26. Boaz, who is a man of honor and integrity,
波阿斯这位诚实正直的人，
27. discovered that there is another kinsman-redeemer who is a closer kin to Naomi’s family than Boaz himself.
发现还有一位亲属与拿俄米的血缘关系比他本人更近，
28. Boaz resolved the problem honorably, legally and with grace.
波阿斯依照法律诚实地、满有恩典地处理了这件事情。
29. In fact, it is grace that characterizes Boaz;
这件事情的确刻划出波阿斯恩慈的品格；
30. and it is grace that characterizes our Kinsman-Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ.
它也刻划出我们的救赎主，耶稣基督满有恩典的品格。
31. Grace is the motive for redemption.
恩典是救赎的动机。
32. Grace overrules the consequences of our shortcuts.
恩典挽回了走捷径所带来的恶果。
33. Grace makes provision for all of our needs.
恩典供给我们所有的需要。
34. Grace is rich in resources and blessings.
恩典是神丰富的资源和福分。
35. Our Kinsman-Redeemer brings us forgiveness.
我们的救赎主给我们带来了赦免。
36. Our Kinsman-Redeemer calls us His “children.”
我们的救赎主称我们为祂的“儿女”。
37. Our Kinsman-Redeemer enters with us into our pain and suffering.
我们的救赎主亲自进入我们的伤痛中，与我们同在。
38. Our Kinsman-Redeemer provides for all of our needs.
我们的救赎主供给我们一切的需要。
39. Our Kinsman-Redeemer never leaves us, nor forsakes us.
我们的救赎主决不会离开我们，永远都不会丢弃我们。
40. Our Kinsman-Redeemer holds us secure in the hollow of His hands.
我们的救赎主把我们托在祂的手掌心。
41. Our Kinsman-Redeemer acts as a fortress and a tower of strength.
我们的救赎主是我们的山寨和保障。
42. Our Kinsman-Redeemer never sleeps, nor slumbers.
我们的救赎主决不会打盹睡觉。
43. Our Kinsman-Redeemer rides the cloud for our help.
我们的救赎主是引领我们的云柱，随时帮助我们。
44. Our Kinsman-Redeemer’s everlasting arms are always underneath.
我们的救赎主永远用祂大能的膀臂托住我们。
45. He is our Shield.
祂是我们的盾牌，
46. He is our Defense.
祂是我们的护卫。
47. He is our Protector.
祂是我们的保护者。
48. He is our Provider.
祂是我们的供应者。
49. He is our Stronghold.
祂是我们坚固的堡垒。
50. Our Kinsman-Redeemer ultimately welcomes us at the wedding feast of the Lamb.
到那日，我们的救赎主将要在羔羊的婚宴上迎娶我们。
51. When the bride is ready to meet the Bridegroom,
当新娘预备好去见新郎的那日，
52. our Groom will present us to His Father on that great day without a wrinkle or spot.
当那一天来到，我们的新郎要领着祂毫无瑕疵、毫无皱纹的新娘朝见祂的父亲。
53. That is our Kinsman-Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ.
祂就是我们的救赎者，主耶稣基督。
54. Do you know Him?
你认识祂吗？
55. Have you committed your life to Him?
你有没有把你的生命交托给祂呢？
56. Have you received Him as your Kinsman-Redeemer?
你有没有接受祂作你生命的救赎主呢？
57. He’s your only hope for Heaven.
祂是你得到永生的唯一盼望。
58. I pray that you will come to Him.
我会不断地为你祷告，让你早日归向祂。
59. Until we meet again, I wish you God’s richest blessing.
